They only needed 8 minutes for the Argentine Higuian to smash the ball home. It happened when Di Maria slipped a pass inside the box of Mallorca and the defenders failed to clear it away in time as they allowed Higuain to take hold of the loose ball and score. 

C.Ronaldo was next in line to square the ball into the net that involved Di Maria and Higuain until it arrived to the legs of the Portuguese winger who made no mistake in firing it home with low but powerful shot. 

The match turned 3-0 when Higuain scored his 2nd at the 70th minute and only 3 minutes later C.Ronaldo extended Real Madrid’s lead with his 11st goal of this season. 

With only some few seconds remaining Callejon sealed things of with the easiest of touches giving his side the vital points.
